Carban
Born on the sea as a bastard to a deck swabby, Carban has no parents of true name as his mother died during his first breath. He grew up on the "Bloodsail" a vessel among the mighty fleet of Daz'alor. Spent his growing years learning the ways of the tides, and fighting for his meals; quite literally. This molded him to evenetually take lead of the crew and fight valiantly during the Battle for Azeroth. Seeking Glory in battle was his downfall before leading his crew to its demise. Finding himself not yet ready to face death; he met with the Loa Bwonsamdi, and was offered a deal. Young and foolish as he is, he took the deal without knowing its repercussions. That decision landed him at the top of Icecrown as a Death Knight being sent to the Maw.
Becoming a Death Knight Although it was quickly evident to Carban he was sent here as a pawn to be used in the fight occurring in the maw, he was fiercely loyal. It wasn't long before he saw forces start to loose hope amidst the Towers of Torghast; stubborn as he was took a vow to himself to fight his way through the tower and defeat all the foes he could until he could walk among the living once again. After shedding his armor as an Admiral and taking the steel of those he had slain, day by day he would press on.. Countless battles; he had lost track of the days. He had new scars and new armor empowered by the runes he had carved in his body. Carban had slayed his last enemy and returned to the land of the living, with a new power.
Returning to Zuldazar Carban was exiled from his home for making a deal with Bwonsamdi instead of accepting his fate in battle. He has been stripped of all titles and rank from his time with the living, some have even refered to him as a coward. He was given no aid and only had what he wore; he boarded a merchant ship and set to the winds west of Zuldazar. Since landing upon Kalimdor he has spent many years traveling alone, making coin as a sword for hire when he could. He has only one goal; that is to find a purpose and someone to serve. Knowing he may never be welcome in Zandalar again, he hopes for a new home. His loyalty is with out question and sometimes has even caused harm when serving leaders who are not so kind.
Notable skills and Personality -Standing at a towering 10" with a muscular build it is no question why he won fights on his ship while living. His eyes are a bright glowing blue with a flame like essence coming out of them. He has short tusks as he is only a young adult troll, did not have a long life with the living. -Since returning to the land of the living with glowing blue eyes and in undead form, he has found it best to keep his helmet and armor on until he feels he will not be threatened by those he stands among. He is often saddened by this because for all things said about Death Knights, Carban is a gentle giant and enjoys the company of the living. He is especially fond of the Dracthyr, although prefers them in their true form and not hiding who they are.(this could be something he likes to see because feels a bit uneasy to do the same himself) -Spending much of his life on the sea he enjoys touring the Lands of Azeroth in all ways; whether it be during a guided tour, wandering on his own, or aiding a hunting party for furs. -Although he has made much of his steady coin over the past years with fur trading and ore mining, he takes no joy in slaying wild beasts of Azeroth. (except crocs, he hates crocs) -Travels much of Azeroth using the portal system he has discovered and is very fond of, although it makes his stomach uneasy so an ale at the end of his days are a joy. -Skilled in the ways of Blood he is most fond of work that involves security through the more formidable areas in hopes of finding treasures and trinkets. (he was a sailor after all)
