The HSV pros have been playing football in Norderstedt's Airbus Arena since they lost the rights to the old arena at Altona Volkspark. Built on the former training ground and equipped with the latest technological gadgets, hardly anyone mourns the loss of the old stadium. Security is strict and multifaceted: On the one hand, every second of the players is monitored by video and automatic location tracking, and on the other, spectators are subject to equally strict controls. The focus is not only on smuggled items or recording devices, but also on technical and magical illegal spectators from outside.
