Folen
Folen is the Nsalenoric Elven deity of death, having control over the afterlives of those Elves who worship the Nsalenoric Pantheon. Not only is he the god of mortality, but Folen is also said to be the god of the sea as well as being the patron deity of hunters and fishermen. This has led to him becoming one of the most popular deities in Morduin, an Elven state deeply associated with and reliant upon the sea and sailing both economically and culturally. Folen is often depicted as a short, thin Elven male with long, seaweed-like hair and slightly rotted skin. He is often seen wearing darker colors and armor made from the chitinous skin of an ancient crab which Folen was said to have killed in defense of the first Elven settlements in Londthas. He is generally considered to be a stoic, cold, and uninterested deity when dealing with mortals, but is always said to be extremely helpful to those who ask him for assistance, assuming he deems them worthy. The symbols with which he is most often associated are oars, squids, and daggers, specifically those used to gut fish.
