The Night Guild

Beneath the ever changing economy, under the Nobility and the Imperial Senate, and within the shadows of the Church of the Seven lies the Night Guild.  Similar to the web of shadows weaved by Clan Oni and their operatives, the Night Guild is Halruaal's organized criminal enterprise.  Whether it is bribery, illicit goods, or assassination, the much of the criminal underworld resides with the Night Guild and the mysterious entity known only as the Shadow Prince.  

Few besides Clan Oni interact with this organization regularly. And while many nobles will claim that the idea of a country-wide guild of criminals is preposterous, everyone knows that the Guild is very much an active organization.  Every city, every town, every stronghold within Halruaal, might be a staging ground for a squad of cut-throats and thieves.  In this regard, even Clan Oni respects and is wary of the Guild's influence.  

Structure

The Night Guild operates much like Clan Oni.  Most cities and towns have a cell of operatives with powerful/influential leaders.  All report to the illusive Shadow Prince, though no one truly knows who they are (as some suspect it might be a woman or entity).  

Culture

The Night Guild is shrouded in mystery, wrapped in an enigma, and buried in doubt.  Sometimes even the leadership of the Guild don't know or see the full picture.  Only the Shadow Prince has knowledge of every aspect of the Guild, and few even know if he truly exists. 

Public Agenda

Not much is known about what the Guild wants, but it is known that there always appears to be a price for their aid, or a consequence of crossing them.
