Háskifold

A dark and dangerous region of Hálfrfold, the effects of the magical intruders can be felt here quite clearly. Anyone travelling across here takes care to bring enough provisions, as the rivers are often poisonous, and any animals living here are grotesque caricatures of their fellows further south. Although no one would travel the area alone - indeed a single person would hardly be able to pass the treacherous Háskifjell mountains without a climbing partner - large groups are rare as they tend to attract unwanted attention.

Not even the hardiest of explorers leaves their tent to ‘thank the earth’ after nightfall, opting instead to observe the ritual in a more creative way.
