Liminal Space

The maximum liminal space of a Limn is closely related to the total conviction of its observers that the Limn is real, which may be further amplified by strong emotions. A Limn tends to conserve its total liminal space to the bare minimum required to support its observers.

The Guild of Tollworkers confirmed, to their reported glee, that commerce (in the form of indefensibly raised tolls) happens to increase the personal investment of observers, and thus their conviction that the Limn is real. A doubling of the tolls resulted in a proportional doubling of the liminal circumference.
