Giant

A Gigantic constructed entity. Characteristically, but not necessarily, Human in origin.

As Defense

Although a hypothetically impressive, the defensive use of giants was found to be problematic in practice, given the cost of upkeep, and their propensity to suddenly walk off the edges of things. Few giants remain in captivity today. Some are penned with a ring of excessively tall mountains in the Brobdingnag Construct Reserve, with some maintained by private individuals for sports.

As Sport

Giant racing is an expensive, dangerous, and profitable enterprise. The Brobdingnag Prix is the most prominent example of the sport, and a major contributor to Gardyloo's economy.
