Cosmic Exhalation

Halcyon's multiverse is believed to be cosmically ancient. Although the multiverse is the product of a single Big Bang event (the Cosmic Inhalation), the multiverse has since begun to contract, and is approaching a hypothetical Big Crunch (the Cosmic Exhalation). The ongoing contraction of the Halcyon multiverse causes the infinite overlapping parallel universes that had been created by the Cosmic Inhalation, to collapse. The process is poorly understood, but is understood to facilitate the formation of various strains of Limn.
