Artificial Limn

Artificial limns are a category of Limn, that result from artifice. This is dangerous and highly specialized work that generally requires the collaboration of many dedicated practitioners. Naturally forming limns are discovered by oneironauts, then cultivated, and bound to artifacts (such as portals) by metamages.

Strains

• Phantom Tollbooth - Tethered between two portals, usually with some horrible fate for non-payers
• Utility Closet - Manufactured, tethered to one Portal, activated via an easily carried artifact. Highly prized.
• Hidden Room - Manufactured, tethered to multiple portals, activated via an easily carried artifact. Highly prized.
• Portalopolis - Manufactured, tethered to multiple portals. Usually contains a city on a belief-powered cloud, floating over an abyss. There is usually a toll bridge for each Portal, which is presumably dedicated to infrastructure.
