UnderDark

Summary

The Hafiz City Undercity rests on the most surface layer of the UnderDark. Very few Hafizis, even know of its existence. However, that may change very soon.

Geography

The UnderDark can varied in its geographic expression. The only commonality between any UnderDark location is that the rays of the sun do not shine upon it. All of its geographic locations are absent of light that occurs naturally from the sun. There are underdark lakes, rivers, streams, oceans, valleys, gorges, mountains, plains, mushroom forests, lichen forests, great caves and halls and all manner of life supporting environments.

Fauna & Flora

Much of the flora and fauna that makes up the UnderDark is adapted to life without light and a far harsher environmental impetus to survive at whatever the cost. Because life is harder to sustain here, everything protects itself and dominates what it can, fiercely.
