Session 48

Once back in the safety of Odaro our heroes were able to inspect and identify the Crimson Fulcrum Lens and recover from their harrowing battle. Dr. Zips had to deal with a shadier element from Odaro attempting to procure more Qat than they actually needed. The town guard begged the Bravest Braves to stop Baloo from parading through town. But most notably they sought Wrin's aid in helping cure Koko of his affliction. She was able to inform them that this apparent curse was somehow serving as a conduit to something else....something powerful seperate to the void soaked occult powers the Bravest Braves had contended with so far. Koko after thinking deeply elected not to sever that connection and resolved to face the unknown following the near animalistic impulse to return to that cave of glowing webs and whispers. Returning there he engaged in a rite of communion, sitting amidst the jewel like arachnids and opening his mind to the power that lurked their. He encountered a many-armed entity bearing the name of Hassana, speaking as a matron of storytellers and the stories that remained to be told. She told Koko of the potential she saw within him and offered to cure him were he to embrace the title of champion, and forsake the easy path of comfort ...the thought of returning home for good that had always tempted him in the back of his mind. Koko in his heart of hearts showed no hesitation and accepted the bargain...finally truly stepping into the role of "hero".

Transformed and revitalized our heroes proceeded to the lower floor of the Caligni stronghold and spoke with Galudu who informed them of a Black Dragon to the west and an extremely powerful Daemon to the south. Giving thanks for the intel the Bravest Braves stepped out the door only to immediately be accosting by a band of roving daemons and were instantaneously thrown into the thick of battle.
