Session 15

Our heroes faced down the Ghoulish Scrivener, infuriated by the death of his minions and the destruction of his workshop. Still his fury could not match the might of the Bravest Braves and he too was destroyed like brittle parchment. Our heroes explored for a tiny bit more. Encountering a few nasty surprises and lingering Ghouls but sustained no wounds that Zips couldn't patch up and no enemy that the flames of the heroes could not purify.
On our way out Mrk once more lit up with a strange energy and projected a scene to play out. Seemingly detailing a meeting of some living scribed deep withing Gauntlight long ago. With this they elected to return to town to rest and recupperate.
While in town they tried to get more info from the Druids of the Stone Circle about the Werewolf and Imiq contacted Wrin about the tattoos but were not able to make any major breakthroughs....although Arturo did manage to spot a young Druid who may be willing to talk when her superiors are not around. Garland and Lans privately perused a Dragon's Hoard Vol. 2. Something that seemed to be of great interest to Volluk and allegedly pinned by an important figure of Chimera who had been enigmatically referred to as "The Dragon". Mrk and Zips were able to review the schematics they discovered within the workshop and seem to have the makings for creating a new prosthetic.
Although our heroes would have loved more time to chase down these individual leads....they were perceptive enough to notice a small glow beginning to build at the peak of Gauntlight's tower. A grim and haunting time table had been set for the Bravest Braves. With resolve the next day they readied new arms, prepared new spells, and dove into the depths of Gauntlight once more. Scarcely reentering the library before coming across a profane alter and several robed Ghouls engaging in a hideous mockery of prayer. The Bravest Braves fearless charge into battle once more!
