Session 1

Our adventurers: Garland Macdougall, Lans Macdougall, Mrk Elve, Dr. Tycho Zips (and his familiar Kozmo), Imiq Pengu, and Garrik IceTusk had all answered a letter sent by Wrin and in response gathered at Wrin's Wonder's, partaking of lemonade and cookies (or in Mrk's case trying his best to) , so that she she could explain why she had reached out and what she needed from the unusual crew. She spoke of horrible restless dreams, of an ominous darkness spreading across the land and sea... and an unsettling pale glow from the northwest. She offered to give them what gold that she could as well as grant them the blessing of the Cosmic Caravan in exchange for them checking out the decrepit ruins on the northwest edge of town. The heroes agreed and each one received a single harrow card that Wrin used to divine their destiny.
After a brief time preparing (and Garrick ducking the icy stairs of shady folk about town) the heroes gathered by the bridge (with Garland and Lans engaging in some recreational fishing and violin music) they moved forward. As they approached the strange swampborne lighthouse known as Gauntlight, Imiq surveyed the waters and saw signs of predators, (likely orcas or walri) about, so they elect to avoid the water for now. Entering Gauntlight they were accosted by some Mitflit Gremlins masquerading as Pixies in order to trick them into eating dung. One escaped immediately but one of his comrades was slain by Lans with one fiery punch. Another Gremlin was sliced into pieces nearly effortlessly by Mrk. Moving further inward, they noticed a booby trapped draw bridge and paused to strategize their best way forward
