Halflings

Valuing hearth, food, and community above all else the Halfling people are known for being uncommonly lucky. The nature of a Halfling luck has yet to be adequately explained by science or magic, although some say it is part of a karmic balancing for a hideous tragedy in the people’s past. Halflings are generous and welcoming to their friends and can be fiercely loyal. They rarely seek the spotlight and are known to live in close knit communities either hidden in the countryside or as secret sub communities in the heart of bustling cities. A Halfling can usually be sure to count on the help of other Halflings, and there are few things worse to a Halfling than being exiled or shunned from his home.
