Gauntlight

A small lighthouse located amidst a swamp on the northwest of Odaro. Once the lair of the witch Belcorra who was slain by adventurer's representing the Conclave (a governing body of Limberry). An occasional refuge for squatters, bandits, gremlins, and other small beasties. It has sat relatively harmless outside of Odaro for hundreds of years.
The blueprints however reveal that there is much more than meets the eye. That the structure extends deep into the earth for 9 levels where it sits over an shrine to Nhimbaloth hidden long long ago where she once managed to touch the material plane. Architectural details as far as individul room layouts are sparse although it does notate "fleshwarping" laboratories, battle arenas, prisons, and passages into SubTerra. Most of the documentation describe the different powers and effects of Gauntlight.
It reveals the indestructibility of the core of Gauntlight is due to it being both a building and an artifact of the highest magnitude of power. Its existence is linked to Belcorra's and as long as she persists in some form so will it. It works by leeching the life out of the land and sea by night and going dormant during the day, letting nature take over once more to consume the rot and hide the evidence. The occult construction Gauntlight has the power to trap the souls of those that die within it, hiding their presence from those carrying the blessings of the gods and preventing them from moving on into the afterlife ....leaving them at the mercy of Nhimbaloth and her faithful. 
For someone to use the magical properties of Gauntlight one must be within the Shrine below it. Gauntlight also requires an anchor (a living being contained within Gauntlight used as a focus of sorts, a process that will not kill them but keep them locked in constant angony), It's power can be further enhanced by several special lenses designed to harness Gauntlight's power. If allowed to reach full power and fitted with the lenses Gauntlight has the following capabilities:
1. The ability to flood an area with necrotic energies raising corpses into lesser undead, empowering existing undead, and triggering occult transformations.
2. The ability to remotely scry
3. The ability to transport large and powerful creatures across vast distances.
As the power of Gauntlight grows so does its range. At full power no place on Terra would be out of reach.
