Dogfolk/ Kalystrii

(Use rules for Gnoll)   Created by the Twins of Love and Loss, it is said that the Kalystrii were meant to be companions to mankind, and to teach them the truth about the nature of caring and compassion. To some such a simple reason for existing would be unsatisfactory, but many Kalystrii actually take great pride in it. They tend to live in the biggest most populous cities or as farmers out in the countryside (as long as they can belong to a farming community) they are gregarious and loyal to a fault. Many stay amongst their own kind but they are adept at integrating themselves into many groups or social circles. They are known to form especially strong bonds with virtuous humans and when called to adventure many walk the path of the Cleric or Champion. They have a tendency to be initially distrustful of strangers, however they can open up quickly if a person manages to prove that they are honest and trustworthy. Some Kalystrii can manipulate their voice when they howl causing eerie and disorienting effects. The tears of a Kalystrii are said to carry the powers of Love and Loss depending on the emotions in their heart. Almost all Kalystrii worship the Twins and/or The Father and tend to strive to be “good”. Those that do not are seldom understood by other Kalyrstrii and may voluntarily leave to seek the company of more open minded people. Kalystrii never forget a favor or a kind act and will fiercely defend their relationships. Kalystrii adventurers tend to form intense bonds with their party and will fight to the death for the sake of a comrade. Kalystrii are one of the more short lived races, rarely living much longer than 75 years of age.   Heritage and Feat Notes (Lore/Flavor):
