Expanded Story Overview

X-Files IV is it's own universe, and as such it features a multitude of different stories - both long and short - within it. Some of these stories are lengthy and introduce new eras to the world, such as Retribution, whereas others are short stories that expand upon events. These stories are organised into phases to offer more clarity as to when they occur.

Phase 1

Phase 1 stories are those that occur any time before the Advent of the Myths. The encompasses the time period from before Prospero's founding all the way until the very day before the Advent began.

Phase 2 stories are those that occurred during the Advent of the Myths.

Phase 3

Phase 3 stories are those that occurred following the Advent of the Myths. This includes those in the immediate aftermath as well as those that occurred years later.
