Session 1/2 Before Hitchcock Report
General Summary
In Session #1/2 (a follow-up to the character-creation session #0), two of our travelers in this grim and perilous world, the ogre-touched sellsword, Grumble Toothsnap, and the weak-stomached bravo, Fleur, find themselves trying to earn a few coins in the market square of some nameless Oracusan town. They posture and pose and then begin sparring. The bravo, quite adept with her court sword, disarms Toothsnap of her mortuary sword. Toothsnap draws her zweihander; however, a stranger in the crowd attempts to steal away with the mortuary sword, but Toothsnap's eyes, though of different colors, are too sharp, and she conks him over the head with the zweihander. And thus we are introduced to a third member of our band: Bahlsen (pronounced Barlson) Butterkerks, 18-year old cheapjack and wanderer. The two fighters finish their bout, and that is where this session ends (due to a fair bit of character tweaking at the beginning of the evening). Our foray into the grim and perilous world of Grymm will resume in Hitchcock, a once-prosperous town on the southeastern coast of Oracus, where we will likely meet the rest of our stalwarts: Banzio the halfling Jester, his faithful companion, Bacchus Fellhart the fop, and Butterkerks' father, the con man, Cedric Cromwell.
