Welcome to Greyhawk Beyond

Greyhawk & Beyond is a weekly Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition league that meets every Saturday at Tucson Games and Gadgets. The world and story will be explored and we build a world together. In former years, we used seasons to define a storyline which would climax with a big bad. Going forward, seasons will be used to mark the passage of time, but big bads (or small ones) can appear at any time as players discover and explore locations and plot lines. Players will start their journey at level 1 but their player characters will continue to grow in power, wealth and influence until they meet their unfortunate end, reach the level cap or are retired by the player. Characters may be expected to eventually become the mayors, judges, nobles and business owners that future characters will come to know.

TIMELINE

Throughout various versions of Dungeons and Dragons, Greyhawk has evolved and has a deep, rich history. However, we will be taking a page from its creator Gary Gygax, who never wanted it expanded past a rough outline for Dungeon Masters. After all, he reasoned, wasn’t that the whole fun? He was convinced players and DMs would rather create their own world than read volumes of geography and history. When Greyhawk was first released the year in game was 576 cy (common year), with a history going back to -14,400cy. The last time any official Greyhawk content was released it was the year 591cy.
