Here are the options for the players

Races:

Races have been explored several times and have been condensed down to a smaller list. Many of the expanded races have been prohibited because of alignment, playability, and general ability to work with our diverse customer base. Prohibited races may change at any time. Any race not on this list will not be permitted until discussion among the DMs and store staff have determined they are appropriate for the setting. Multiple requests or loud arguments for a race or racial ruleset does not mean that they will be magically placed on the approved list.   Currently Accepted Races

Creation Requirements:

  • All players start at level 1. Levels are recorded on your character sheets.
  • Ability scores may be chosen using (PHB ppg. 12-13):
  • Standard Array (15, 14, 13, 12, 10, 8)
  • Rolled (4d6 drop lowest)
  • Ability scores must be rolled in front of a GM.
  • Point Buy
  • No ability score can be above a 17 or below an 8 after racial modifiers have been applied. If you rolled outside of that range the DM will make a decision about the rolls. No exceptions.
  • Winged creatures cannot fly until level 4. Pretend your wings are undeveloped.
  • Except for the above, no homebrew or partnered content.
  • All Feats, weapons, spells, and backgrounds must be printed in an official WOTC Dungeons and Dragons 5e book listed in this pamphlet. Other official content will be considered at store’s discretion; no Spelljammer.
  • Our suggestion for starting equipment is what is listed for your class in the book. If you choose to purchase your items, you must use the starting gold listed in the book.
  • dndbeyond.com is permitted for character creation, provided the homebrew content and partnered content options are disabled. Many of our players use the free version of Fifth Edition Character Sheet available on Android or Apple Store .
  • Backgrounds give depth to your character. Consider a simple one.
  • If your character reaches level 13, you may be asked to retire the character.
  • Books:
