Xanist
Xanist the Inventor
Xanist is a man who treats the laws of physics as "vague suggestions." He is a Human of indeterminate age, mostly because he’s replaced several parts of himself with superior mechanical versions. He wears a leather apron with roughly forty-two pockets, most of which contain a "crucial" spring or a half-eaten sandwich. His left eye has been replaced with a multi-lensed brass ocular that whirs and clicks as he focuses on you.
He speaks in rapid-fire bursts, often finishing his own sentences before he's halfway through them. He has a profound disdain for "The Way Things Are Done" and a deep love for the Guvners (Fraternity of Order), whom he constantly tries to annoy with inventions that exploit legal loopholes in the laws of reality.
