Trip

The shop is run by a Shadar-kai known only as Trip. He is unnervingly small for his kin, with nimble, soot-stained fingers and a prosthetic brass toe that clicks rhythmically on the floorboards.

"I don't care who bled for it, and I don't care whose crest is on the box. I only care if it fits in my safe and if the Watch is looking for it. If they are, it’ll cost you."

Trip is a cynical realist. He speaks in short, clipped sentences and has a habit of "absently" playing with a coin that seems to disappear and reappear between his knuckles. He is an expert at identifying the "signature" of various thieves' guilds operating within Gloomwrought.
