Drowned Quarter
The Drowned Quarter is a district within Gloomwrought. Located along the coastline of the Stormy Sea, the quarter hosts the city's docks, warehouses, and sailors.
Notable Locations
32. Public Docks - These docks are constantly busy as dockworkers, living and undead, continually load and unload ships under the shouts of furious wharf masters.
33. Noble Docks - These docks are operated by the wealthy families of the city, among them, House Harskel. Merchant ships from these families unload their goods here.
34. Carradh Landing - This dock is the private landing of House Carradh. It boasts impressive security measures as well as three enormous cranes, each capable of lifting a galleon from the sea.
35. Execution Dock - Prisoners who have committed the worst crimes imaginable are executed here. They are shackled in cages and thrown into the harbor during low tide. The slow rise of the sea gives them time to contemplate their crimes as well as a death just as horrific as the offenses they performed.
36. Dunnage Row - This street is lined with bars and flop houses. Many of the sailors from the docks spend their time here.
37. Cracked Keel - This three story tavern was built from the hulls of ships wrecked on the stormy sea. The walls are plastered in sheets of parchment from people looking for work or hiring mariners.
38. House of Sterling - This pleasure house also serves as the military and information hub of the Veiled League.
