Session 7: The Three Faces of Evil
General Summary
Vin went in the spellbook. The rest of the party stole a minecart and got some provisions to deliver down the elevator. Before they went in, they did some disguising with the help of Nemara's magic and some disguise kits.
The guards, who wore tabards with Hextor's holy symbol, took the party into the adjoining lair of the Vecna cultists. There, we separated wome acolytes, killing two and interrogating a third. Nemara gave the survivor a Suggestion to visit Allustan, and sent him into town.
The party tried to follow, but set off a trap when Vin cast a spell. Some Vecnan acolytes held Lins (with Hold Person) and Sigvurd and Nemara fought them. When Lins got free, she helped finish them off. It looked like things were going in the party's favor, when a door opened and a large and tall Faceless One loomed.
