Magical Secrets of the Rift

Legend tells that the Rift was created in a battle between greater Powers. Which ones varies from version to version of the tale, but it is said that a great axe or hammer smote the ground and sundered it. Be that as it may, it is certain that the very deepest recesses of the Rift hold powerful and wild magical forces and probably certain relics too. Again, there are legends that a primordial giant race used the Rift as a burial ground and their immense, cavern tombs can be found below the Rift. The bandits have always had enough to do fending off the monsters from these deeps without trying to retrieve such magic, and as yet Menfri's researches have not been able to pinpoint any specific locations of these reputed magical relies and artifacts.
