His weapons are marked with a distinctive left-hand imprint, a symbol of his own liquid metal prosthetic hand, which replaces the one he lost in a duel against the hero-deity Kelanen over twenty years ago. Cerenoc speaks of his injury not with bitterness, but reverence, claiming it set him upon the true path of the blade and deepened his understanding of swordcraft.
