Common Crypt
The Common Crypt marks the somber gateway to the vast network of catacombs that serve as Greyhawk’s public burial grounds.
Above ground, a vast mausoleum provides space for the ashes of the cremated, while below, a yawning stone stairway descends into the shadowed depths of the city's dead.
The catacombs are cold, silent, and sprawling, a labyrinth of unmarked graves, forgotten tombs, and hidden histories. Here, the dead outnumber the living, and those who enter without purpose—or protection—may find themselves lost to the silence forever.
