Brass Dragon Inn

The Brass Dragon Inn is often the first sight weary travelers see upon entering Greyhawk via the River Road, its grand façade promising warmth and luxury.

The inn is a sprawling, labyrinthine structure, boasting wings, towers, hidden alcoves, and smoky beer halls. Whether a guest seeks a quiet fireside lounge or a raucous hall filled with bards and laughter, the Brass Dragon has something for everyone.

But luxury comes at a price. Rooms and meals are among the most expensive in the Old City, with lodging and board costing upwards of 1 gold piece per night. While the menu promises a wide variety of dishes, from succulent seafood to roasted fowl, all the food inexplicably tastes the same—and not particularly good.

Security is strict and ever-present. Weapons larger than a dagger must be surrendered at the entrance, and a small army of guards—including a 7th-level sergeant and ten 3rd-level enforcers—ensures that the peace is kept.

For those with coin to spare, the Brass Dragon offers comfort and security. For those without, it is a painful lesson in the cost of indulgence.
