Healing Spirit Spell Adjustment

Rules As Written

Healing Spirit, described in Xanathar's Guide p. 157, can heal an unlimited number of times within its duration.

House Rule

The spell can heal a maximum times of 1 + your spellcasting modifier, as per the official Errata.

Rationalisation/Reason for the Rule

Allowing virtually unlimited healing can potentially lead to abuse. This puts a maximum cap on the ability of the spell to heal.
