Town Hall

A mid-sized brick building housing the offices of the Mayor and a meeting space for town meetings and celebrations. There is a large clock tower connected that rings out every hour, nicknamed "Little Green" by some of the townsfolk.   When Gabriel Hanford stepped down as Mayor in 1960, an election was quickly held to take his position. However, due to the struggles the town was going through, not one person wanted to pick up the pieces. In the end, one of Gabriel's staff members, Ted Wilson, was the only one to step up and volunteer to run the town. At first things were a bit bumpy, attempting to raise town spirit by holding celebrations in a time when no one really wanted to celebrate, but eventually Wilson found his footing and began ennacting plans to breathe life back into the town.   This started in 1964 with Mayor Wilson's Small Business Enrichment Program (SBE Program), which saw Green Run purchasing much of the land that had sat abandoned in recent years and auctioning it back to the community for far cheaper than it was worth in order to bring in business both for the economy as well as getting people out of their homes again. The SBE Program saw the reopening of Pat's Tavern, Grandpa's Famous Chilli (reopened as a burger joint), and more recently, the Green Run Theater.   Since then, faith in Mayor Wilson has only gone up, bringing in the GRSS to overhaul Green Run's public transportation when tourism began to boom during the summertime, as well as practically rebuilding their powerplant, its output increasing tenfold to allow for Green Run to continue to expand for generations.
