The Silain Theocracy
The Silain Theocracy is bordered to the East by the Sea of Mists, and beyond that lies Vailles. The Silain Theocracy is a former colony of the Kingdom of Vailles, long ago disowned for Apostasy. While trade relations are still supported, numerous conditions, and limitations are put on travel and trade between the Silain Theocracy and the Kingdom of Vailles, mostly by the Church of the 7 spheres. Though King Luckas has been working for quite some time to remove those restrictions, the process is slow, as those who occupy other seats within his government are quick to support the churches long held decisions.
While very little information is known of the The Silain Theocracy’s practices, whispers tell that they are worshipping what they call those of ‘Chosen Blood’. While little is known of the ‘Chosen Blood’, it is largely believed that they reference the descendants of a Lineage of the territory. Even quieter rumors say that the Queen may in fact be of the Sillaen descent herself. Few ever journey through the Sea of Mists, as spirits seem to wander the mists, and monsters wait to drag ships to the deep. Those who survive the trip are rarely, if ever, allowed to return to Arvos.
