Northern Sergal Language Groups

Unlike the complex linguistic subgroupings involved in the categorization of Southern Sergal language groups, the Northern Sergal language groups are more or less mutually intelligible based on rough geographical regions of the Northern Islands of the Broken Horn. Like most langages in the world, these locational differences correspond to linguistic shifts incurred by migration across the islands over time. They are as follows:
Upper Egalan, Central Egalan, Lower Egalan, Eastern Nobliak, Western Nobliak, Lower Nobliak, Eastern Priyatin, Central Priyatin, Western Priyatin
Each of these groups has between 15 and 60 languages. In total there are 381 documented Northern Sergal languages, with only a few possible undocumented languages remaining, as well as a few dead languages which are documented.
