Imperial Republic of New Verdon

Verdonese colony on the wild continent of Morgranth.

Structure

The Republic has a separation of powers among an Executive, Legislative and Judicial branch.
The Leader of the executive branch is the Chief Executive Minister. Below him are ministers for Resources, Defense, Exploration, Finance, etc. He also commands the small defense force and is even delegated power by the Emperor to command Imperial Troops stationed in Morgranth.
The Legislative branch is parliamentary, with a Speaker who is chosen by a coalition among represented political affiliations.
The Judicial branch is staffed by several adjudicators experienced in the colony's laws. They are chosen by parliament and serve permanently until they resign or die.
