Gold Scale Festival

The Gold Scale Festival is an annual trading event where residents and innovators from across the continent gather to exchange goods, showcase inventions, and enjoy festivities.

History

The Gold Scale Festival was initiated by the Rhineway Kingdom as a show of good will towards its neighbors by facilitating a forum to showcase new advancements in technology to better the continent as a whole. A Gold Scale represents fairness. Because big players were converging into one city, smaller vendors and merchants also congregated to potentially bolster sales. Not long after, citizens from all over came from far and wide to take part, making it a widely-known event across the continent.

Execution

Commercial players and inventors from Tephra, Consell, and Rhineway Kingdom gather at Aldon Gate to showcase new goods and innovations. There are also vendors, contests, and games for the average citizen to take part in, making it a popular event. On the third and final day of the festival, innovators present their newest inventions and the presiding rulers of all three kingdoms form a panel of judges. The most impressive innovation will be deemed "worthy of the Golden Scale," and the creators will be showered with wealth and prestige.

Participants

At bare minimum, the major commercial and intellectual forces from Tephra, Consell, and Rhineway are present. However, average citizens and merchants can take part as well.
