On the eastern part of the continent within the Andoah Mountains is the ash-covered country of Tephra. Crater Haze is the source of this ash. Tephra is also the home to the Gabb-roh.

Structure

A High-Judge is the leading representative of Tephra. Marshals are appointed to preside over settlements and handle disputes.

Public Agenda

Overall, Tephra has a community-oriented culture due to the harsh climate. It's far more fruitful to assist each other than live in strife. As such, they are incredibly accommodating to guests

Assets

Tephra has amassed an abundance of precious metals and other geological oddities. They are also the only country with the means to utilize electricity for practical use.

Tephra is populated purely by Gabb-roh. The harsh climate is uninhabitable by other species.

Technological Level

Haze Lightning is a common and dangerous occurrence in Tephra, but the Gabb-roh have developed a way to harness it through Rhyol Coils. As such, they have developed rudimentary electric-powered devices, such as light bulbs and small engines. They have an understanding of just how dangerous lightning can be and what safety measures should be taken.

Agriculture & Industry

Tephra is the leader in the retrieval and refinement of metals despite how dangerous it can be. Their masonry is second to none as well.

Infrastructure

Roads are difficult to maintain with the perpetual ash and smoke. Street lamps powered by Rhyol Coils are a common commodity throughout Tephra to mark roads and hazards.
