As the only child of the current Beaumont Patriarch, Leon should be next in line to become leader of the gang. While the young man is incredible in a tussle--he fights like a demon--he lacks any measure of discipline required to run an organization as well oiled as the Mileu. Most people figure he'll be passed up in favor of his cousin, Marcus.
Leon was apprehended the night of Pygmygate--he was in the gaming room too intoxicated to be particularly coherent playing roulette. At first authorities were ecstatic to get a member of the organization, and one so high up! Unfortunately, interrogation has not been effective or easy. For someone so undisciplined Leon is surprising resolute, and not half bad at playing the fool\footnote{the trick is to actually be one}.
