Harmon Houde

Mage under the employment of The Family and school friend of Marcus. Harmon is Marcus' oldest ally and one of the senior members of the Milieu, being one of their top Lieutenants.
Harmon studied magic under some of the greatest wizards of the modern age in Ulduz and is an accomplished mage in his own right. He first became fascinated in illusions during his studies by watching "the sun play with the breeze"--an Achaemian euphemism for the mirages common in the southern Sonsuz desert. He uses a brilliant Ruby set in an amulet as his focus.
With Marcus in hiding, the troupe they operated together has fallen on Harmon to run on his own.

Fraternal Conflict

Harmon is the older half-brother, by their mother, of Red by about three years. When Harmon first came to Granmont to spend the Summer with his new academy pal, Marcus, he was forced to bring Red by his mother, and he promptly abandoned the younger brother in the Beaumont Property while the older boys romped around the city.
