All games of fortune in Granmont are illegal unless explicitly permitted by the Guild of Bookkeepers. Back alley throws of the dice and card games in smoky taverns are still common throughout the city, but are liable to be shut down by guild Enforcers, who make take any money on the table as a fine.
Legal gambling throughout the city typically either takes place at the Casino de Granmont or in the form of licensed sport betting at Camus Stadium or Racetrack. There are also a handful of simple lotteries, and taverns authorized to host low-stakes games but most games are limited to these venues.
