Mother of Raphael and Hugo Beaumont and progenetor of the Beaumon dopplegangers. The Beaumont family was third-fiddle mine owners until this outsider elevated them to godhood in this city.
The only creature Genevieve has ever felt a shred of empathy for is her descendants, and she conspired to set them up for life. It was the cunning of Genevieve that put the adolescent Baudelaire in the Baron's throne whlie forever indebting him to the family.
