Currency
The de jure currency of Pouleyron is the Regalia, a coin with gold content comparable to other gold pieces around the world, such as the Achaemian Lat or Reggian Dole. While all businesses are required by law to accept this national currency, they may choose to accept other payment options as well, and banknotes have since become the de facto standard: these slips of paper come in livres, which have a value of one-pound of silver; sous, which is 1/25th of a liver and deniers, which is 1/20th of a sous.
