The Archive of Covet exists as a repository of historical knowledge, artifacts, and study.

History

In the early days since Granduul was being settled the structure which would later become the Archive of Covet, was originally a religious temple of Ioun. After a few hundred years the temple's clergy were dwindling. When the titans emerged it forced the academics of the world to shuffle their important records to a new location, far from the cataclysmic threat.
The Archive was selected and it was refitted to serve as a library. Since then the archive has done more than just retain these records, but also to incentivize the collection of new ones. The most popular method has been through the contract through --The Trace-- who provide samples and deposits of monsters they hunt in exchange for access to existing records to aid in their hunts and investigations.
