Harsh Beginnings

Being born to House Grimsbane, Ara became familiar very quickly with the profession of Lycan hunting. She grew up under the expectation that she would carry on the family obligation of hunting the werewolf menaces accross Granduul. She spent years training in sword combat, survival and tracking tactics. Nearly all training was conducted with her siblings under the guidance of their father, Corbin Grimsbane.
After in-taking the Hunter's Bane to boost her natural abilities, it was expected of her to undergo the ritual unique to her bloodline called "The Taming". This would include passing into the native plane of the Lycan's, The Feywild, to hunt the prime werewolf, Silvermane. After passing into the Feywild, Ara gave into her own fear and fled before being taken back into the material plane through a portal. After this she kept her distance from her family out of shame and took a position at the trace where she fulfilled several high profile contracts, like clearing out a basilisk nest, and tracking down a doppelganger spy.

Blood Hunt

It wasn't before long a lycan contract popped up near where she was stationed. In an attempt to overcome her fear of lycans she took the contract and traveled to the town of Salisbury. Little did she know she was also being hunted by that very lycan, the most recent werewolf in an ancient lineage named --Arthur Shaw--. He recognized the strong affinity for lycanthropy that her blood held and hoped to turn her into the next most powerful werewolf to kick off his lycan army. Fortunately for Ara, and the rest of Granduul, a new group of monster hunters came in to follow up on her disappearance and killed Shaw.
After that Ara joined this group and followed them through Granduul before the group happened upon a sacked mansion that ended up being a ritual house for the Shaw family. After investigating the found carnage, Ara recognized the signs the weapons and tactics utilized by her family. After reaching Varenguul Ara decided to overcome her shame of failure and returned home in hopes they would forgive her failure. She was welcomed by a warm reception and jumped right back into the "family business" closer together than ever before. They traveled across Granduul tracking lycan cells, taking down safe houses using info that was seized from the ritual house.

Return to the Feywild

What they were unaware of was that the Shaw house was plotting to surround the bloodpack's keep in The Will Forged Mountains. With the help of some disgruntled The Iron Will defectors and some dragon born mercenaries the lycans blocked off the keep sealing in the occupants.
Through the feywild portal inside of the keep, lycans began to poor out putting strain on the Blood Pack from all sides. Just when they thought they could not hold out any longer, Ara's allies appeared bearing supplies. Once all parties regrouped they planned an attack against the Fey prince that Ara's allies had been tracking. After eliminating the target, and resurrecting her father that had fallen in combat, Ara departed with the rest of the Blood Pack from the keep in the mountains. She travels with them, attempting to pick off the few Shaw stragglers keeping the lycans in check.

Trained by her family, House Grimsbane, in the art of Lycan hunting, as well as military tactics from The Iron Will.
