Old Angelic Codes
Geographical Distribution
Angelic Lands. After the invention of the Record Cube however all faded into history. They where to hard to understand, and impossible to decipher if you didn't know the language. Most texts that have been written in them cannot be read today, their writers have either forgot the code or are dead, usually the former. Though some are dedicated to translation, based on the four sound code, some also have five sounds, and symbols are are to decipher as well. Most give up after a few days.
Phonology
Although they varried greatly, the codes often followed the same basic principles, in that each was based around four sounds when read, Eh, Ah, Oh, and Uh, with words often branching into Uh-Uh-Uh-Oh, making words sometimes extremely long, but this did not concern them, as they had plenty of time. However this was not always the case, some had only three while others had a Ih replacing one, or simply added onto the code.
Morphology
Codes where most popular within Eden where information needed to travel quickly, they usually had more diverse range of words than other codes. A common example is Uh-Uh-Oh-Ah-Ah-Koi-Hu-Joy, it means "independently", The Uh-Uh-Oh-Ah is the in, while Ah-koi is "dependent", as koi is a shorten version of Ka-oh-oh-ah-oy, which means on top, or structure, the writer used it as a replacement. While Hu-Joy, which is usually Huj rarely using the oy, means it means "to do". However these changes are rarely understood outside of those who know the code. It is hard to recover the meanings of stone tablets because of this, and they are often left to sit idle within the outer towers of Eden.
Tenses
With the langue being formed around four to five sounds, those that made a word past tense or future tense, as well as present tense varied greatly. They often were two syllables, Hi-Oh was common around Eden for past tense, as well as Hi-or, though Hior gained more popularity eventully. Before the end of the codes the Past/Present/Future tense sounds became single syllables.
