Record Cube

Although etching whatever languege you are useing into stone was okay for the holding of data for Angels. It was inefficent, and hard to use if others did not know the languege. It was soon replaced by the new Record Cube. A stone cube that holds meaning, instead of symbols or pictures, and much more compact. They have completely replced stone etchings.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

A stone cube with a small sheet of Iron every inch besides the last one (Five in normal cubes), on each side. A small wire runs through the top and bottom of each plate attaching it to each other plate on that inch. When a Record Cube Encoder implants meaning into the cube, the meaning is stored on the first plate on the side implanted. After that plate is filled up, it moves to the next plate on the inch, and so on, until it needs to move to the next inch.

Manufacturing process

A small stone cubes is created, then six Iron plates are put on each side, and a Iron wire is run through the top and bottom each of the plates connecting them. Then stone encases the entire cube. After which it is done agai, five times. A complex cube has a Iron center, as to handle multiple Encoders at once. It is assembled by Angels, the stone is simply bonded together with thier connection to the source. Larger ones follow the same format, just bigger.
