Savagar (SAH vuh gahr)

Savagarians have a reputation for being primitive warmongers who spend their free time drinking and fighting. Savagarians generally find this stereotype offensive, because it completely overlooks their love of music and poetry, most often indulged in while drinking or fighting. Hunting is also considered a necessary skill.
Mountainous and heavily forested, with a subtropical climate, Savagar is riddled with swamps, caves, and underground structures left behind by previous civilizations. Summers are frequently compared with living in the devil's armpit and it rains roughly two thirds of the year. Many areas see heavy flooding, which has been adapted into everyday culture.
