Anatomy

Humanoid species with two legs and two arms. Hands and feet are webbed with fins on the calves and upper arms.

Genetics and Reproduction

Sexual reproduction, 350 day gestation.

Growth Rate & Stages

Reaches full maturity at around 15 seasons. Fins develop around the 10th or 11th season. Hair begins to appear around the 12th season, prior to this Aquans are completely bald.

Ecology and Habitats

Most Aquans spend the entirety of their lives underwater, creating settlements on the sea floor surrounding Marmaroth. They prefer trenches in the ocean and underwater cavern systems to create their habitats.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Although technically omnivores, most Aquans eat only aquatic plant life. Those who do eat aquatic animal life tend to stick mostly to molluscs and smaller cephalopods. Aquan settlements farm such foods.

Biological Cycle

Underwater, the changing of the seasons do not have a great affect and the darkness and pressure of the depths at which Aquans typically reside mean that day and night are quite foreign concepts to most Aquans.
