Losing the battle against Tiamat, who now called herself "Queen of the Dragons", the six gods pulled their powers together in an attempt to replicate the creation of Tiamat. Although successful, only a single headed platinum dragon came out of the creation that contained the mind and memories of each of the metallic dragons infused into its being. With the help of this platinum dragon who was named Bahamut the gods were able to defeat Tiamat and allow him to take the reign as "King of the Dragons".
