Personal history
Alaric Varro grew up in Llanfyll , the moon elf capital, but he always felt stifled by its rigid traditions. He was a curious child, often found wandering the nearby woods, speaking with creatures, and observing the natural world. As he grew older, his connection to nature deepened, and he embraced the druidic path. This choice set him apart from many in Llanfyl, as moon elves were more attuned to more structured things and although he claimed to worship Krorone Goddess of Darkness there were rumors that he secretly prayed to Ilmos God of the Hunt and Nature . Alaric’s unorthodox methods earned him a reputation for being aloof and unpredictable, yet his wisdom and charisma drew others to him despite his quirks.
After the death of Nurn's brother in Mili Alora, he felt a detachment from the blade in a sense; however, it was the bindings that kept him going. A blade must have a seer, but with the death of his brother it was almost too much to bear. The blade Nurn came across Alaric one day and found him bold, entertaining, and a little bit weird which seemed to offset the blade as an almost polar opposite. Nurn felt a draw of destiny and named Alaric his seer.
Over the decades, Alaric (now Seerer Nurn and the Blade Nurn traversed the world, seeking to uphold the bindings of the blade. The seer welcomed this freedom to be able to travel to lands outside of the elven forests and cities; however, they would return to regale the widowed mother of the blade in tales of their heroics. The duo set out around two years after the events at Mili Alora and traveled all around; however, it was their return back to the city--after well over a century--when the abericlase faltered and they found themselves in the city of Nadena where the blade called for them once more to build a wall and protect the city from the chaos outside.
The years passed by after the wall had been built; however, the blade seemed to long for home. The protection had been proven fruitful and the outside world's chaos seemed to have passed. It was then that the blade and his seer went to the council and proclaimed that the wall be open to all...soon after that the blade was put on trial for treason against the safety of the wall and his seer would have seen the same fate except the blade proclaimed that this was all his own accord and Alaric was not part of this plan or actions. The blade nurn was put to death and the blade tossed away as scrap. After the burial rites had been completed the seer searched for the blade, only to find it in the hands of a young human girl named Ivelle Calothar and to his surprised remained intact. The seer could not bring himself to kill the girl and sully the name of his former blade and he began slowly teaching her the ways of the faith and blade to help her understand and has continued her lessons for the past 2 years.

The once free druid feels as though he's become a rat in a cage, but out of respect for the blade he remains in Nadena to continue the work.
