Bertrom Grangerford

Bertom is a gentle soul and handles the wild areas throughout the lands. He wants nothing more than to roam the wilderness and be an adventurer, but his older "brother" keeps him in control and in check. He primarily resides in Kasaka. Bertrom and his sister Brytha were born of nobility in Virifell. He was enamored by adventurers and wanted nothing more than to explore the continent (which was still somewhat unexplored and wild at the time) and make his mark in the world. He looked up to the Scions of the Turquoise Cod as how he wanted to live his life then one day he was cursed with lycanthropy. Devastated by this, Brytha took him to the holy city of Grangerford to see if they could find a cleric that could cure her brother of this curse. This curse ran deep and the acolytes and trainees there were unable to cure him completely before the lord stepped in. Seeing the potential of these two, he offered to take care of them and heal the curse himself. Unfortunately, both Bertrom and his sister found themselves caught within Riament's grasp where she was turned into a vampire, and the curse was deepened and manipulated even more. Bertrom found he had more control and he was stronger in his wolf form; however, he found loyalty to the lord. After years of service and research, the facade was put into place that the previous lord had passed away and the new lord would take up the mantle with his younger brother and sister assisting. Brytha was named lord of Virifell and Bertrom was given the freedom to run through Nettle Plains and slate his desires in Kasaka as long as he provided guidance and support for the elves still removing young children of destiny for continued experiments. Bertrom typically does not enter towns as he finds them uncomfortable and has lost most of his humanity. He could honestly care less about the races of men so long as he survives. He keeps a pet wolf around him that he calls nibbles that is black, missing its right eye, and have a few scars along its body from fights before.
