Glow

"Svetit'sya", or as it is commonly known, "Glow" was a common narcotic in the Underdark that's become nearly impossible to find. It looks quite similar to a potion both in appearance and dosage. Imbibing a full vial will generate an intense feeling of euphoria that lasts for hours, along with a general feeling of health and wellbeing [granting temp hit points similar to a potion of false life]. "Heavy users" have been known to try and stretch out a single dose of Glow across many days. Regular or even infrequent use rapidly leads to a debilitating physical addiction with an extremely long detox cycle.
Aleorman of Freehold currently has a reward out for anyone who can duplicate the recipe, as well as bounties out for the original creator of the drug who the public only knows as "The Grey Ghost".

History

Created by a mysterious figure who is only known as "The Grey Ghost", this drug was widely distributed through the Underdark by the Unseen until 1544 when production abruptly halted. In the months since, prices have skyrocketed as addicts of all classes desperately look for a fix and drive the price up to where only the most wealthy can afford it.
